Our brand-new units boast elevated furnishings from Article, West Elm, Room & Board as well as other higher-end stores. You will also find beautiful Delta or Elkay plumbing fixtures and the majority of our light fixtures are from Schoolhouse Electric (made in Portland, OR). Our Story

The remodel has truly been a labor of love (and a lot of elbow grease)—Erin has personally led much of the work to transform the motel’s rooms and suites into bright, cozy spaces that feel unpretentious yet elevated. From your doorstep, you can step onto a whale-watching tour, join a fishing charter, paddle a kayak into the bay, or simply sip a coffee while watching the harbor’s daily rhythm. Directly across from Statter Harbor, our location offers some of the best views Juneau has to offer—morning to night, every day of the year. Whether you’re here for adventure or to slow down and soak in the scenery, we’re proud to offer more than just a place to stay. We invite you to experience a piece of Auke Bay’s history, its community, and its wild, unforgettable beauty.

Ride through Juneau

Experience the beauty of Auke Bay and Juneau with an easy-to-use e-bike rental. These Rad Runner Electric Cargo Utility Bikes give you a helpful boost, making it simple to cruise along the scenic coastline and forest trails without getting tired. It is a fun, eco-friendly way to explore local sights like the Mendenhall Glacier at your own pace.

Adventure Awaits

You'll have the best views in Juneau, all day every day. The apartment is located within a mixed-use building in the heart of Auke Bay, about a 20-minute drive from downtown Juneau. The building also hosts multiple restaurants, salons, bar (located at the opposite end of the building), a newly opened art gallery showcasing Alaskan artists, as well as a laundromat. Next door is a brewery/restaurant and yoga studio. You will also be right across the street from Statter Harbor where you can rent kayaks, and where the majority of Juneau's summertime excursions, whale watch tours and fishing charters begin.

What Our Guests Are Saying

Apartment was wonderful! Fun decor and delightful touches like faux retro appliances and a record player that looked old but wasn’t, complete with an appropriately eclectic selection of albums. Our grown kids loved the hideaway bunk beds, and our bed was very comfortable. As advertised, the outside of the property looks like the old motel that I suspect it was, but do not judge this book by its cover. A special spot, and Erin could not have been nicer to work with and easier to contact. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy, cute studio in Auke Bay! The space is beautifully designed, spotless, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location couldn’t be better: steps away from the harbor and nearby restaurants, a short drive to Medenhall Glacier and downtown Juneau. Erin, our host, was responsive and welcoming, making sure our stay was seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend this gem—well definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in Juneau!
